Industrial Doors

APPLICATION

 

The normal application for these doors would be Factories, large industrial units etc

Normal sizes start at 3000mm x 3000mm. but can be made as large as is required.

Doors are available in plain galvanised and can be powder-coated in any B.S. colour or RAL colour.

 They are also available in a range of Plastersol colours.

All industrial doors can be fitted with top brush seal, side brush seal and bottom rubber seal to make them more draft proof and rodent proof.

All doors are ‘automatic up’ and ‘dead man down’ to comply with health and safety requirements

All doors are fitted with an inertia brake device compatible with the weight of the door and are equipped with stand-by chain for manual operation in case of power outages.

Doors larger than 4800mm x 4800mm are normally fitted with wind captive channels. 

SPECIFICATIONS

 Curtains.

 Curtains are assembled from galvanised interlocking lath sections in .7mm, .9mm or 1.2mm steel. Complete with pressed end locks fitted on alternative sections to contain lateral movement.

 Barrel.

The curtain will operate on a steel barrel of adequate dimension to resist deflection. Barrel to run on BMS shaft complete with sealed needle bearings.

Guides.

Steel/Alloy sidetracks, in 75mm or 100mm, designed especially to accommodate shutter curtain with ease of operation complete with cup feed ins.

Electrical Operation.

Suitable rated motor with built in limits. Voltage supply is 220V AC single Phase or 380V Three Phase. Tamper proof 3 positional key switch. E/O Roller shutters have to be operated by an independent key switch or push button. Running more than one shutter on the same key switch or button will result in damage to one or all motors due to current feedback. Relays for multiple operation are additional. Where site wiring is supplied a ‘live’ isolator must be provided not more than 2 meters from the motor and all controls are set on the same side of the opening as the motor.
